How secure is my data really?
Your data is encrypted client-side using AES-256-GCM before it ever leaves your device. We use the same encryption standards as banks and military organizations. Even if our servers were compromised, your data would remain unreadable without your personal encryption key.
What happens if I forget my password?
Your data is protected by a 12-word recovery phrase that you receive during setup. As long as you have this phrase, you can always recover your account and access your encrypted data. Store it safely - we cannot recover your data without it due to our zero-knowledge architecture.
Can Rivn employees see my photos and notes?
No. Your content is encrypted before upload, and we never have access to your encryption keys. All we see on our servers is encrypted data that looks like random noise. This zero-knowledge approach means even our administrators cannot access your personal content.
How do hidden workspaces work?
Hidden workspaces are separate encrypted environments accessed with different secret phrases. Each workspace uses the same encryption system but is unlocked by its unique secret phrase, making encryption key management simpler and data export easier. There are no traces linking workspaces together, providing perfect compartmentalization.
